Our efforts in environmental conservation and natural resource management center around preserving biodiversity, advocating for conservation-focused value chains, mitigating deforestation, and enhancing resource governance. Through a collaborative approach, we foster meaningful involvement and leadership from local communities and marginalized groups, aiming to safeguard high-carbon ecosystems, implement nature-based solutions, bolster resilience, and support diverse livelihoods. With a wealth of experience spanning over 20 years, our expertise encompasses biodiversity conservation, natural resource governance, climate and conservation finance, workforce development in blue and green sectors, as well as climate change adaptation and mitigation. Grounded in evidence-based research, we actively involve the private sector in our initiatives to promote sustainability and amplify our impact at scale.

Smart City Consulting
Prolific is dedicated to empowering Indigenous peoples and local communities, enabling them to take the lead in conservation initiatives. We work towards reinforcing their rights and building their capacities while ensuring access to information for the preservation of terrestrial and marine biodiversity. Our projects employ theories of change to map outcome pathways, employ rigorous data collection for performance monitoring, assess progress, and incorporate feedback to adapt effectively to evolving needs.
